A verb tells us about an action, or a condition. This means that a verb describes a situation in which we do something, or in which something happens.

She sleeps.
Pigen spiser mad.
The girl eats food.
Bilen kører hurtigt.

In Danish the verb does not change its ending in the different persons. The verb changes ending in the different tenses, but the form of the verb is the same within the different tenses.
