2.5 Exceptions

There are many nouns which are irregular. There are no rules for the conjugation of the irregular nouns. The three most common exceptions are:

Nouns that are the same in both the indefinite singular and the indefinite plural forms.

Nouns that change vowels in the plural.

Nouns that double the consonant when the vowel is short.
